Festival 3 - Ice Sculpting Festival

The Ice Sculpting Festival suffered the misfortune of being the first warm day since the January snows. So by the time we arrived things were melting before our eyes. Still it was a good excuse to meet friends and enjoy the Gluwein.

Those sculptures look fantastic!!! Am most impressed, but yes, 'tis singularly ironic that the festival takes place on the first warm (relatively speaking) day of the year!

I love it when the ice sculptures just start to melt, because then they're so clear inside :o)
